DESCRIPTION

The 4th PIX4life webinar presents application cases of visible and near infra-red bio-photonics by TOPTICA and Bosch respectively. TOPTICA is reporting on their Multi-Color Laser Engine (MLE) multiplexing four wavelengths (405nm, 488nm, 561nm and 640nm) by means of a Photonic Integrated Circuit (PIC) with Silicon Nitride (SiN) waveguides.

Bosch will be presenting their work on integrated bio-photonics sensors for life-science and beyond. In many applications sensors are requested that offer very high sensitivity and specificity in detecting and measuring small contents in liquids or gases. With PIX4life, Bosch is developing integrated photonic circuits combined with new VCSELS for a demonstrator case to push the boundaries in these fields.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

The webinar is relevant for anyone who is interested in applications of photonic integrated circuit (PIC) technology for life-science. This webinar consists of the two presentations on applications of PIX4life technology. No minimum qualification requirement but a general knowledge of photonics is encouraged.
